Personal Background of Bob McIntosh, Q.C.

Bob graduated from the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall and was called to the bar in 1957. He practiced in Brantford throughout his career specializing in wills and estates, business law and real estate. Bob was awarded a "Queen's Counsel" designation in 1970. He is a past president of the Brant County Bar Association and a past member of the executive committee of the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section. Bob has been active in a host of community organizations over the years. He is a former Chair of the Board of Governors of Laurier University, a past president of the Brantford Regional Chamber of Commerce and as the incorporating director of the Brantford Symphony Orchestra.

Following his retirement in 2001 Bob has kept busy outside the practice of law, both with his family and as an active member of the Kiwanis Club and the Probus Club and on the Board of Directors of the James Hillier Foundation and the Brantford General Hospital Foundation.
